A renewed boiler plant for a four-storey Norwich office building, followed by a transparent comparison of site gas-meter readings.
The project
Modernising the plant.
Tassie & Son replaced two 240 kW gas boilers at Reed House with four 120 kW Vaillant ecoTEC condensing boilers in a cascade. The new arrangement retained 480 kW of installed boiler capacity while dividing it between four units.
The project also included a plate heat exchanger, filtration and control work. The brief was to renew the heat source and give the building team a more manageable plant arrangement.
