Information we collect
Our commercial enquiry form collects your name, organisation, email, optional telephone number, building location, number of sites, services required, maintenance needs, timescale and description of the work. Submitted enquiries are saved in a restricted team inbox using our website hosting infrastructure. Please do not submit sensitive personal information, access codes or security plans. If you telephone us or follow an email link, we may receive similar contact and enquiry information. If you become a client, we may also hold quotation, appointment, job, asset, certification, invoicing and service-history information needed to deliver and support our work.
To protect the form from abuse, we use a daily hash derived from the connection IP address to limit repeated submissions. We do not store the raw IP address in the enquiry record. A successful submission may be recorded as an optional analytics event if you accepted analytics, without the contact details or text of your enquiry.
Commercial form submissions are also processed by FormSubmit to relay the enquiry details to office@tassieandsonltd.co.uk. A private copy remains in our website inbox so an email-delivery problem does not remove the enquiry. FormSubmit's documentation states that its submission archive is retained for 30 days. How and why we use it

Depending on the situation, our lawful basis will usually be taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation or pursuing our legitimate interests in operating and improving the business.
We use optional website analytics only when you consent to it. You can withdraw that choice using Cookie settings in the website footer.
Sharing and storage
We only share information where it is reasonably necessary—for example with authorised employees, service partners, professional advisers, payment or accounting providers, insurers, regulators or authorities. Service information may be held in our cloud-based Joblogic CAFM platform. Where a supplier processes information for us, we expect appropriate confidentiality and security protections.
We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose collected, including any legal, tax, insurance, warranty, safety and certification requirements.
Cookies and third-party content
Google Analytics 4 is optional. If you accept analytics, Google's tag may store analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_* and collect page views and interactions with telephone, email and contact or quote links. Google lists a default lifetime of two years for these analytics cookies, although browsers may shorten it. See Google's cookie information. We do not send enquiry text, names, telephone numbers or email addresses as analytics event details. The tag does not load when you reject analytics. Your choice is saved in your browser for up to six months and you can change it using Cookie settings in the footer. We do not use advertising cookies on this website.
The Facebook timeline on our home page is blocked until you actively choose “Load live updates”. Loading it connects your browser to Meta, which may receive technical information and use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy terms. Links to Google, Facebook and Instagram take you to third-party services governed by their own policies.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your personal information, object to certain uses, or receive a portable copy. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis. Contact us using the details above to make a request.
